Kris Smith Has Been Enjoying Spending Time With His Family In Lockdown

Kris Smith has been making the most of his time in lockdown at home in [/news/melbourne/index.html Melbourne] during the [/news/coronavirus/index.html coronavirus] pandemic, but admitted it's been difficult financially, too.
Appearing on [ ] on Thursday, the 41-year-old model said he was enjoying being at home with his partner, Sarah Boulazeris, and their two young daughters, Mila, 18 months, and Frankie, six months. 
'With the horrible global pandemic that's happening right now, it's really enabled me to slow down,' he explained.

Appearing on camera alongside her dad, Mila then sucked on a finger and stuck it in her ear, after learning how to give a 'wet willy'.
'It's an educational family right here, so we're spending a lot of time teaching the kids what they really need to know, and a wet willy is exactly that,' Kris laughed.

Describing 2020 as one for the history books, Kris said he's been trying to find the positive in what's been an otherwise bad situation. 
'This is an opportunity that I never would have had if the world was as it used to be,' he added. 
'This is time that I would never ever get back, so I don't want to be disrespectful to people that have lost absolutely everything, but for me, it's been quite a beautiful time.'

But he acknowledged it's also been 'tough', admitting: 'Financially it's been terrible.'
After opening a chain of gyms, Fitstop, with Sarah at the end of last year, it wasn't long before the pandemic forced them to close their doors.
Describing it as 'a really, really tough time for everybody', Kris said they were able to adapt with online workouts, but admitted it hasn't been the same without physical interaction.
